Important Compatibility Notes
Note 1: The mAT-K100 has two adapter cables to choose from: mAT-CI (for ICOM) and mAT-CK (for KENWOOD). Standard accessories only contain KENWOOD adapter cable mAT-CK. If you need mAT-CI for ICOM transmitters, please purchase it separately.
Note 2: This tuner cannot be used with IC-705 transmitter. If you use this transmitter, please select mAT-705 tuner.
Note 3: KENWOOD TS-430 and TS-440 are too old to use this tuner. For other transmitters, compatibility depends on whether they support original brand tuners (AH-3/AH-4 for ICOM, AT-300 for KENWOOD).
The mAT-K100 provides automatic antenna tuning across the entire HF spectrum plus 6 meters, at power levels up to 120 watts. It will tune dipoles, verticals, Yagis, or virtually any coax-fed antenna. It will match an amazing range of antennas and impedances, far greater than some other tuners you may have considered, including the built-in tuners on many radios.
The mAT-K100 is an automatic antenna tuner specially designed for modern ICOM and KENWOOD HF transmitters. It has two adapter cables to choose from: mAT-CI and mAT-CK. They are suitable for ICOM and KENWOOD transmitters respectively. With matching adapter cables, tuners can be used for corresponding transmitters.
The mAT-K100 has 16,000 frequency memories. When tuning on or near a previously tuned frequency, the mAT-K100 uses "Memory Tune" to recall the previous tuning parameters in a fraction of a second. If no memorized settings are available, the tuner runs a full tuning cycle, storing the parameters for memory recall on subsequent tuning cycles on that frequency. In this manner, the mAT-K100 "learns" as it is used, adapting to the bands and frequencies as it goes.
The mAT-K100 connects to the transmitter via its TUNER jack to control the tuning cycle. The TUNER jack also powers the tuner, so it requires no external power supply.
ICOM Compatibility
When mAT-K100 is used in ICOM transmitter through mAT-CI adapter cable, it is fully compatible with the original AH-3 and AH-4 automatic tuners of ICOM. transmitters that can use both ICOM tuners can also use mAT-K100, which includes:
KENWOOD Compatibility
When the tuner is used in KENWOOD transmitter through mAT-CK adapter cable, it is fully compatible with KENWOOD original tuners, such as AT-250, AT-300. KENWOOD transmitters that can use mAT-K100 are:

Standard Accessory:
KENWOOD adapter cable: mAT-CK, it is provided as a standard accessory along with the tuner.
Optional Accessory:
ICOM adapter cable: mAT-CI, it's not a standard accessory and needs extra purchase.
There are two kinds of adapter cables for mAT-K100: KENWOOD and ICOM. The adapter cable provides control signals between transmitters and tuner, and power supply for tuner. When the tuner starts, it can automatically identify whether the KENWOOD transmitter is currently connected or ICOM, and work with the corresponding software without any settings by the operator.
Front Panel Indicators:
- ONLINE - Lights up to indicate that the tuner is online, off indicates that the tuner is in bypass
- POWER - Power indicator light
Rear Panel Connectors:
- GND - Connected to antenna system ground
- ANTENNA - SO-239 socket, connect antenna with 50 ohm coaxial cable
- RF IN - SO-239 socket, connected to the transmitter's "ANT" socket
- RADIO - 4-pin mini-DIN connector, connected to the tuner control socket of the transmitter via adapter cable
